Dent Johnson

With more than 20 years of prior leadership and supply chain experience, Dent joined Do it Best in 2018 as a divisional manager in merchandising. He worked with numerous product category teams on strategic program development, vendor negotiations, promotional opportunities, and supply chain enhancements. Assuming the role of vice president of merchandising later that year, he oversaw our hardware products purchasing, global sourcing, inventory control, category management, Alliance partner activities, and pricing teams.

Dent Johnson assumed the role of executive vice president of operations in October 2022, providing strategic direction for the Merchandisng, Information Technology, and Logistics divisions. In 2024, Dent moved into the role of President of True Value.

Dent previously served in senior roles with Michelin Tire Corporation, both in the US and abroad. A dedicated community volunteer, he supports the United Way of Allen County, having previously served a nine-year term on its board. He also serves on the executive committee for the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana. In addition, he played an active role on the Regional Opportunities Council as part of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.
